Liverpool offer Firmino new short-term contract: Romano

Fabrizio Romano has provided an update about the negotiations between Liverpool and Roberto Firmino over a contract extension.

He stated that Liverpool have offered the Brazil international a new short-term contract. The exact term of the contract has not been revealed yet.

Firmino has also stated his desire to stay the club: “It’s fantastic playing high-level football here with great players.

"I’m happy here and I intend to stay here and help Liverpool.”
