'Difficult to talk to you after what you wrote': Klopp refuses to reply to James Pearce at presser

Jurgen Klopp has refused to speak to James Pearce after the Athletic's journalist asked a question at the news conference after the Wolves game.

"It's very difficult to talk to you if I'm honest, I would prefer not to do that," the Liverpool boss said.

"You know why. For all the things you wrote. If somebody else wants to ask this question, then I'll answer."

One of Pearce's recent articles on the Athletic contains criticism of FSG's transfer policy and their lack of investment in the midfield area. However, this article is not that critical of FSG to warrant such a response from Klopp.
