Josko Gvardiol to cost Liverpool £98m next summer
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool will have to spend up to £98m in the summer if they are to sign ace Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol. They would have to pay the player's release clause which is that figure.
The big defender scored for Leipzig against Man City in the Champions League this week, but he's unlikely to arrive at Anfield if FSG continues to remain frugal.
Lovren retires from international football
Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has announced his retirement from international football. He was a big part of the Croatian team that won that reached the final of the World Cup in 2018 and was placed 3rd in the 2022 World Cup.
He released the following statement announcing his retirement:
Hodgson opens up on Liverpool's top-four hopes
