A surprising report has come from Turkey: according to A Spor, Fenerbahce are keen to sign Thiago Alcantara in the summer.
It's even claimed that Fenerbahce are prepared to pay £7m for the 31-year-old whose contract with Liverpool expires in less than 18 months.
However, Fabrizio Romano has indicated that those rumours are wide off the mark.
He tweeted: "There are no chances, no contacts and nothing true into the links between Thiago Alcantara and Fenerbahce, despite links in Turkey. Thiago Alcantara is only focused on the Liverpool project."
Thiago has had a few injuries since arriving from Bayern in 2020 but still played almost 100 games and helped the Reds to a couple of cups, including the FA Cup win last season.
