Second Liverpool player withdrawn from international duty after suffering reported head injury

It's only been days since Liverpool confirmed that Darwin Nunez had to be withdrawn from Uruguay's squad for March international break due to injury. Now, a new report claims that youngster Ben Doak has also been withdrawn from Scotland's under-21 squad following a head injury.

On Tuesday, Doak was involved in a painful head collision during Liverpool under-19 UEFA Youth League defeat against Sporting CP. And according to Scottish outlet The Herald, the injury is enough to rule out the youngster for the international break.

Doak is rated by Jurgen Klopp with the 17-year-old already gifted five appearances with the first team this season.

The right-winger has been in good form for the Liverpool youth team netting 10 goals and five assists in his 23 appearances so far.

Hopefully, the youngster recovers quickly enough to carry on the fine season he's enjoying.
