Haaland was forced to pull out of the Norway squad for the upcoming Euro qualifiers with an injury earlier in the week. 

“He had a little feeling after the last match, but he thought it would go [away],” Ola Sand, the Norway team doctor, said. 

“Then he comes down here, and it got worse. The injury is taking a little too long for us.”

The big striker poses the biggest threat for any defence in the 

 this season after netting a staggering 28 goals in 26 goals. He already bagged four hat-tricks so far. 

Nunez backed to be 'as scary as Erling Haaland' soon

 striker, he told Talksport: “Look at what this guy is doing to defences. Speak to the guys who are playing against him. They will be saying ‘I don’t want be playing against him week in, week out’.

“This guy could be almost as scary as Erling Haaland himself. And actually, I think he does more in the game as well.

This guy is only going to get better and Liverpool fans will enjoy that very much indeed.”

Nunez has struggled to properly adapt to the Premier League, scoring 5 goals in 12 appearances so far. Haaland, however, has already scored 21 goals for Man City and is leading the top-scorers charts.

The Uruguayan probably needs a bit more time to fix the issues in his game, after which he can become a highly prolific goal-scorer for his side.

Klopp compares Darwin Nunez to Lewandowski — it has to do with missed chances

, journalists asked me why [Lucas] Barrios was not playing,” 

 had scored 16 goals that season and was the No 9 in our team. So Lewi started playing in different positions to adapt to different things, [and he] didn’t like it too much.

Klopp trained Lewandowski during his days as Dortmund's manager. The Polish striker would later transform into one of the most fearsome strikers in football. 

Nunez has missed not less than five clear-cut chances for Liverpool in the last two games. You get a feeling he would get better with time under Klopp.
