“It was just over four months since I played 

 at home, that was my last game, so I had to admit it felt strange - I was not used to playing Premier League anymore,” he told 

“But I felt good during the game, I had a couple of chances in the box and around, I just need to get my certainty back and I think that will come with more minutes and hopefully [I can] help the team with goals and assists.”

The player had some good opportunities in Liverpool's draw against Palace and it is clear to see that it may take a little while to get back in form.

agree 100%, Jota needs time to find his match fitness in the Premier league again ,and a goal to bring that confidence .Diaz might also need a few games to get going again when he returns to the first 11 so hope the keybosrd warriprs on here give him that time to get back to his best and it might not be until the start of next season when that occurs.Injuries have buggered up both thesr players this season but guess thats just psrt of the game although we have been unlucky that this season, injuries have hit us so hard
 Hopefully 2023-24  will b kinder to us andwe can have a more settled squad and some new fit dynamic midfield options to pick from

What do you expect.  He just came back from a long injury and you're playing him out of position while Gakpo can play on the left much better than Jota    makes no sense but yeah Jota did well on Salah goal today.  Expecting way to much from these players. Same with Diaz when he returns.  I can already see what's going to be said about him.  Fans are being unrealistic and expect these players to be the same as they were before their long term injury and that just isn't possible.

Jota was our best player today. He showed guts and skill. Wasn't as lethargic as other players who seem to not be able to run anymore.
