FSG owner attends Liverpool game for the first time in 9 months — caught on camera

's principal owner John Henry was spotted watching the Reds during the game against West Ham in midweek. 

The FSG boss was captured by cameras seated beside Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan at the London Stadium.

This is the first time Henry is being spotted at a Liverpool game since the Reds thrashed Bournemouth 9-0 back in August. 

The American billionaire has owned Liverpool for nearly 13 years with the Reds reclaiming their status as one of Europe's best clubs during that period. 

However, there are misgivings among fans regarding how FSG has run the club lately. It all stems from Liverpool's struggles this season with the Reds poised to finish outside the top four for the first time in seven years. 

FSG suffer blow as potential investor reportedly end interest before summer transfer window

FSG are still looking to minority investments at 

 to help boost the club’s finances before the summer transfer window, as per Liverpool Echo.

However, a potential investor – GIC Private Limited, which is a Singapore sovereign wealth fund, have ended their interest in buying a partial stake.

FSG are still continuing talks with interested parties which will see them sell a minor share of their club for a financial boost.

There is hope that a positive conclusion to this will be reached before the summer transfer window.

FSG will hope to get that boost in funds before July, as they can then use those finances to provide Jurgen Klopp with a decent transfer budget.

The Reds are aiming to sign multiple midfielders in the summer and the owners will need to dish out money to sign some of the top-quality priority targets.

"It is clear other clubs can do in some situations more than us," 

 told a press conference when asked about 

"I am the wrong person to ask about that, but that’s it. I am always here explaining it, and that is the bit that is not so cool to be honest. It is not my money we are talking about…

"You know how the process is, what you want to know is as I sit here, am I angry that we can’t do this or that? No, I am not. I don’t agree all the time with everything we do… but I am employed here. I am not here to be angry about things that will work out or not work out.

"If I am angry we don’t all of a sudden have more money or resources to do everything.

"This is my club," he added as he batted away questions about potentially joining a richer club. "You want to suggest I quit here and wait for the next top job?"

Klopp would've had every right to be disappointed after the decision to pull out of the race for 

However, he's always been a company man and appreciated the full support he's received from FSG. Even without spending as much as their rivals, Liverpool have found the ways to compete for all the main trophies more often than not under Klopp.
