In his post-match interview Trent revealed that 

 encouraged them to try the routine again and so they did.

“He spoke to us, he said let’s try it again, it has been a while since we have done it,” Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports. 

“I think we caught them by surprise and I’ve been able to tuck it away. It was a well-worked goal.”

Yes, Dale, the top four is still on.  Looking forward to see the Seagulls beat the Magpies on Thursday.  That would be a decisive match for us.  I expect Brighton to drop three points when they meet City, so those who still believe Brighton have a chance in the top four are mistaken.

Curtis Jones has mature immensely in that midfield, I was surprised to see him playing at such a high level,now that he is playing really good football, I am interested to see what FSG and JK are going to do in the transfer window,in terms of midfield signings,they may not be interested anymore to bring in top quality players in that department,only backup players to replace those who are leaving,so if we lose out on Mac Allister and others players we are link to then we all know what are in their minds.
