Liverpool is reportedly considering a move for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa when the transfer market reopens.
After securing the signing of Alexis Mac Allister, Jurgen Klopp and his recruitment team are expected to focus on midfield additions to compensate for the departures of James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
However, they could also strengthen other areas, with Chiesa catching their attention once again. Chiesa, who currently plays for Juventus, was previously linked to Liverpool after his impressive performance in helping Italy win the delayed Euro 2020 championships. However, he chose to stay in Serie A at that time.
According to reports from Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, Chiesa is now open to a move and Liverpool could be interested. The 25-year-old had a mixed season, starting only 11 games due to a knee ligament injury.
Despite his reduced demand since 2021, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are reportedly competing for his signature, with a potential cut-price fee of around £38 million.
