"I want to see Kylian Mbappe at Liverpool in the future," former Red Djibril Cisse said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
"I think it is the perfect match and league for him. Look at what Mo Salah is achieving at the moment - he could achieve the same things. Top clubs need top players, so I would love to see Mbappe there - but I know a lot of clubs want him.
“Kylian Mbappe will feel at home and loved at Liverpool. He will also produce great football. I believe it’s either his mum or another member of his family that loves Liverpool and it would be great to see him join."
Speaking back in May 2022, Mbappe revealed that his mother is a Liverpool fan.
The Frenchman has sent a letter to PSG informing them that he won't extend his contract which expires in 2024. If the Parisians fail to sell him this summer, then Liverpool would technically be able to sign the forward on free transfer — although considering his wages and Liverpool's transfer policy, it looks unrealistic.
