'He isn’t the same player he used to be': Gabby Agbonlahor suggests Liverpool player has gone downhill

According to TalkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson may need to be replaced.

"They lost Keita, Milner, Firmino, they’ve got Mac Allister in," began Agbonlahor. "I think they need another sitter because Fabinho looks like his legs are going a bit, Henderson isn’t the same player he used to be."

Henderson's position as an automatic starter for Jurgen Klopp's team has diminished, and throughout Klopp's seven seasons in charge, he has never exceeded 30 Premier League starts.

Agbonlahor believes it is highly unlikely for that to change now. However, there is a possibility that Henderson will still feature in the team unless Liverpool makes additional signings.

While Henderson still looks like a decent player, it may be time for him to take on a reduced role as he starts to show signs of ageing.
