The test is used to measure the physical endurance of a player, and Milner's wins were unsurprising, considering how diligent he is in training.
Now that Milner has left the club, the win in the competition was up for grabs for the first time in eight years.
It's not an unexpected development, though, that Mohamed Salah appeared to be the best. In heat one, he beat Jordan Henderson, Conor Bradley, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate and Kostas Tsimikas.
In the video released by the official Liverpool website, Jurgen Klopp was overheard saying, 'And the James Milner award goes to...', right after Salah's finish.
Another player who impressed was Dominik Szoboszlai who defeated Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo in heat two. However, judging from the conversations between the players caught on camera, Salah's result was unbeaten.
