'He was going to Liverpool': Neville says midfielder linked to Reds has joined 'graveyard' Man United

Former Man United defender Gary Neville has said that Mason Mount, who was heavily linked with a move to Liverpool has joined a 'graveyard', that is United.

“Harry Maguire was going to go to Manchester City,” said Neville. “Mason Mount was going to go to Liverpool.

“They have come here and it’s a graveyard for them. Are we going to keep blaming the kids in the class? Are we going to keep blaming the headteacher?”

Man United slumped to another defeat on the weekend with Mount left on the bench for half the game.

Liverpool ended up buying midfielders Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Endo and Gravenberch, all of whom have helped them get into the top-four already.
