As much as Liverpool fans trust Jurgen Klopp, some of them believe the No 6 role doesn't suit Alexis Mac Allister perfectly.
Against Toulouse, the Argentinean didn't have his best game again (neither did the rest of the team though). That's why a lot of Reds supporters are wondering why keep playing him in that position.
One Liverpool fan offered an interesting explanation: it doesn't have anything to do with Alexis' footballing skills.
"Macca is very important to our on-field 11 because he fluently speaks Spanish and English," henks_house wrote on Reddit. "And as so, he can communicate with Darwin and Lucho about team tactics that are important to Klopp.
"That’s why when you see Macca on the bench, he is always sitting by Klopp because there needs to be an incredible amount of understanding between the two."
As unusual as this opinion may seem, some fans agreed with it.
