Salah reaches 200 goals in England with Brentford brace

Mo Salah has scored his 199th and 200th goals in English football in Liverpool's 3-0 victory against Brentford.

The Egyptian has 198 strikes for the Reds and two for Chelsea. He's achieved this in 340 appearances — 321 for Liverpool and 19 for the Blues.

Speaking after the Brentford game, Diogo Jota praised his teammate for consistency.

"He is always there, is a goal threat, creates chances and is really important for us like everyone knows. Congratulations to him on his 200th goal," the Portugal international said, as quoted by the BBC.

With 198 goals for Liverpool, Salah is the Reds' fifth top scorer in history. The record holder is Ian Rush with 346 strikes.
