Salah named in three-man shortlist for African Player of the Year award

Mo Salah has been named in the three-man shortlist for the 2023 African Men's Player of the Year award.

Salah is up against Morocco's Achraf Hakimi and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen for the award.

Liverpool's talismanic forward continues to rack up incredible numbers and already has 13 goals and 6 assists for the Reds this season already.

Salah has won two (2017, 2018) out of the last four editions of the award, with the Sadio Mane finishing ahead of him in the 2019 and 2022 editions.
