Milner equals Giggs' appearance record
Former Liverpool player James Milner has now equalled Ryan Giggs' appearance record (632) in the Premier League.
He is only behind Gareth Barry (652) now and should he continue playing for Brighton at the start of next season, he could break that record too.
Liverpool to discuss contract extension for Schmadtke
According to Bild's Christian Falk, Liverpool plan to sit down with sporting director Jorg Schmadtke to discuss extending his contract beyond this season.
"The fact is, Klopp trusts Schmadtke and if they are definitely still together, they will see what they can get on the table and maybe strike another agreement again," Falk said.
Liverpool reject loan approaches for Owen Beck
According to The Times, Celtic and Rangers were interested in signing Owen Beck on loan after the left-back's impressive performances in the first half of the season with Dundee.
However, Liverpool have snubbed those approaches after recalling Beck in January.
