'They couldn't': Klopp comments on Salah & Nunez absence v Luton

Darwin Nunez and Mo Salah are not in Liverpool's squad for tonight's game against Luton.

“They couldn’t have played tonight," Jurgen Klopp said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo. "From here we will see who will be back for Sunday but that is not important at the moment.”

The Reds are without ten first-team players today as the team is going through the biggest injury crisis they've experienced this season.

There are only three first-team players on the bench against Luton: Adrian, Tsimikas and Robertson. The rest are the youngsters, including Jayden Danns who makes his first squad appearance for Liverpool.
