'We need miracles with a few players': Klopp offers 5-man Liverpool injury update

Jurgen Klopp has provided updates on five players ahead of Liverpool's FA Cup clash against Southampton on Wednesday.

"In an ideal world you'd think about [changes for the Southampton game]," the boss said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.

"We don't live in one but I haven't made the lineup yet. Still two hours until our meeting, we'll see. Players will arrive and be checked. Yesterday was an appreciation day for winning the cup."

Ryan Gravenberch suffered a ligament injury in the League Cup final and was forced off the pitch in the first half. The injury "could have been much worse", Klopp said, adding that the midfielder will be out for "the next two games at least".

"We need miracles with a few players, that's why I don't want to rule anyone out, but it's touch and go. Darwin, Mo [Salah], Dom [Szoboszlai], we have to see," he added.

Wataru Endo was spotted on crutches after the Carabao Cup final. Klopp said: "Wataru got a proper knock as well, so I wouldn't say it's 'much improved' since Sunday."
