Liverpool managed to fight through an injury crisis at the club to recently win the Carabao Cup with kids and also pick up a big win in the Premier League against Luton Town.

The Reds have been really unfortunate to see multiple senior players get injured in 2024, but continue competing for a possible quadruple.

With the key Man City clash coming up, here is the latest injury update for the 10 injured Liverpool players and their possible return date.

Salah is reportedly expected to return to Liverpool training on Tuesday (5 March). If he can prove his fitness in matches to come, then the Egyptian winger should get to feature against Man City.

Possible return date: March 10 (vs Man City)

Gravenberch had to be taken off in the Carabao Cup final after sustaining a nasty ankle injury, but Jurgen Klopp confirmed that it wasn’t that bad. He could return to the squad against City if able to prove his fitness.

Trent has been troubled with some injuries this season, but is working on making a return for the final stretch of the campaign. He should, however, be able to return after the March international break.

The Brazilian goalkeeper picked up a hamstring injury in training, but has seen his no.2 Caoimhin Kelleher excel. He should, however, be able to play for Liverpool before the season is over.

Jota had to be stretchered off in the win over Brentford last month, but was fortunate not to suffer a cruciate ligament injury. He needs to push to play for Liverpool before the European Championship.

Jones was another player to get injured in the win over Brentford, but his knock isn’t as bad as Jota’s. He could make a return before the March international break.

The Spaniard has not played any minutes for Liverpool this season, but could prove to be a squad option for Klopp in the final stretch of the campaign.

Thiago, Doak and Matip are all suffering from nasty injuries and are major doubts about playing for the Reds this season. For Thiago and Joel, there are doubts on whether they’ll ever play for Liverpool again as their contracts expire at the end of June.
