Liverpool played out a thrilling 1-1 draw with Man City on Sunday evening. The Reds would probably rue their missed chances because the second half was nearly all Liverpool.
On a day that saw some brilliant performances from the likes of Wataru Endo and Alexis Mac Allister, one midfielder has been questioned by Liverpool fan and journalist DaveOCKOP on Twitter, for this lack of impact.
"I don't want to be critical after such a good performance but I think we need a lot more from Dominik Szoboszlai," he wrote.
"Some good moments but big chunks of games are passing him by. If someone said soon after signing Wataru Endo he'd be more influential than Szoboszlai you'd think they were mad, but he has been.
"Endo may not have the skill set of Szoboszlai but he competes for everything and if he isn't on the ball he goes in search of it or puts in a strong tackle to get back involved.
"Cody Gakpo is another talented player we need to see more from. Big moments at times but we need him to win us big games.
"Szoboszlai started off great but at times today he was a passenger. To win the league we have to be firing on all sides.
"He can do so much more, hopefully, we see it."
