Arsenal and Man City keep up the pace: Premier League standings ahead of Liverpool v Man United

As well as during the mid-week, Arsenal and Man City played their Premier League games a day before Liverpool — and like then, they got the maximum of points.

Man City conceded an early goal against Crystal Palace but ended up winning away from home 4-2. Kevin De Bruyne stole the show, scoring a brace and providing an assist for Erling Haaland.

Arsenal had it easier, defeating Brighton 3-0. Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard were the goalscorers.

It means that Liverpool must beat Man United on Sunday to retain their lead in the Premier League table.
