Whilst we don't have the power of Anfield this time around, we do have human nature on our side.  I guarantee you that some of their starting 11 will, no matter what there manager says, be thinking "we're 3 nil up, they're stuttering for form, we've got this in the bag" and thinking about the after match celebrations.

We need whomever the boss decides is good enough to start to really play their "A" game and ensure that any shitty like arrogance is smashed through and shown up for the hollow thing that it is.  Atalanta didn't beat us because of a £2Bn net spend of their manager. They beat us because our mid 3 and front 3 forgot how to play competent, attacking football. 

Hopefully, the fines have been given against those players who have been underperforming recently and they have been paid over to charity (rather than swelling FSGs billionaire coffers) and they will be suitably motivated to actually do competently what they are paid VAST sums of money for.

Well, we've scored 7 past the scum before.  I mean, obviously, Atalanta is nowhere near as midtable and average as the scum are, but even so, I still think if we bring our "A" game, then we can thump Atalanta without reply.

mate what you on about it's highly possible.. depends if the fans that turn up aont protesting over £1 ticket price increase. liverpool have beat them 5-0 there before. it can be done again

Why not, we've got little chance of turning around that disastrous first home leg but after the last 3 games, the players owe it to themselves, club, fans to go all out for it. If we get first goal early and a second not too far from the end, who knows?
