Moreover, all FA Cup rounds will be played on weekends.

The current format implies that there are no replays starting from the Fifth Round while many matches are played mid-week. This will now change amid the emergence of the new European Competition format which will see the increase in the number of matches played.

The parties claim the change will 'strengthen' the existing FA Cup format.

it's happening already  players missing matches because of injuries and strains caused by fatigue .It's no wonder that towards the last month of a long hard season , the teams with prolonged domestic and European Cup runs begin to lose their form. The players are knackered. Either squads need to be enlarged  to allow more rotation or the number of games needs to be reduced. The Premier League needs to be reduced to 18 teams, 34 matches and two relegated and the third from bottom into a play off scenariowith the teams that finish 3rd, 4th and 5th in the championship

Spot on mate, bundesliga is doing so well with 18 teams, their teams always reach great results in international competitions, and i guess thats because of the reduced amount of matches they gotta play

Ita gettin out of control unfortunately… to many games in a way to short period of time… players and staff will be completely drainen after a few years…

Totally agree.If they want to change the format, they could bin extra time and go straight to penalties after second leg if there's no outright winner 💯💯. I don't know how they think we can fit in these matches at weekends when we have our regular games then. Of course this will have the most impact on higher clubs because they'll play more games. Then the lower divisions it will seriously impact on their incomes.  As usual they haven't thought this through properly have they. What the hell🙄🙄🙄. Why not just get rid of the human factor altogether then, Play matches with Androids. They won't get tired will they 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Scrap metal and microchips all over the turf at Anfield, after we've battered Manure, Shitty, and Arsenholes.   Jesus the mind boggles 🤬🤬🤬!!!

I think that ‘No Replays’ will seriously impact on the quality of matches played in the FA Cup.
Firstly, replays for the top sides are detrimental (quantity of games) so they strive to win the first game, meaning open play
If replays are not an option, they may tend , if even at full time, to await Penalties as they have higher quality takers.
Secondly, replays for the lower league sides, especially against top flight teams is a key income source to help their efforts.
The Home/Away issue is a red herring.
And of course the whole thing is driven by UEFA wanting to earn more money! Greedy sods, screw the players, line my pockets instead.
