Liverpool have no objectives to play for in the final two games of the season, as they have secured a third-place finish in the Premier League.
However, Luis Diaz insists that there will be no downing tools against Aston Villa on Monday night.
"We have, as in all matches, always high expectations [of ourselves]," Diaz told the official Liverpool website.
"We know they are a very strong team, that in the Premier League no game is easy. It’s a super-difficult match.
"We have to be ready to answer what they come to do and do what we know, which is to go out to the field to win. We always try to win, to look for the three points and take that victory."
Aston Villa are right behind Liverpool in the Premier League table in fourth — but they are also 11 points adrift, meaning there's no chance they can catch up with the Reds with two games left.
