'He feels like a player again': Bajcetic season-long injury absence explained

Stefan Bajcetic made his first Premier League appearance this season earlier this month, coming on in the second half against Tottenham in a 4-2 win.

The Liverpool midfielder has missed almost the entire season with a knee injury he picked up last term.

Diario Sport report that the 19-year-old was supposed to come back in September but 'his body said enough'. His next return date was scheduled to be around the New Year but he still 'did not have the physique' to play at the Premier League level of intensity.

So Bajcetic embarked on a long journey of improving his fitness. He changed his diet and training methods to work on his lower and upper body.

Now Stefan is injury-free and 'feels like a player again'.
