Liverpool 'really like' Anthony Gordon, chances for summer transfer rated (reliability: 5 stars)

Several days ago, rumours emerged in the media that Liverpool eyed a move for Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon who previously played for Everton.

Signing a new winger might be on Liverpool's agenda, but Gordon is unlikely to be the one player they'll go for.

According to David Ornstein, Liverpool 'really like' the 23-year-old who has scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League this season.

However, Newcastle are unlikely to sell and even if they do, it would be for an astronomical fee. In the knowledge of that, Liverpool are not expected to pursue Gordon.
