"People are modest. He stands with both feet on the ground. We make small talk, here in the butchers. His father, the school principal, was always his trainer."
"He grew up with football. He grew up with the discipline you need to become a footballer. He was very driven. You’d often see him running around the streets, past the window. As a little boy, he knew how it worked.”
