Arne Slot yet to meet new Liverpool directors over transfer plans — Fabrizio Romano

Arne Slot does not appear to be in the loop over Liverpool's transfer plan this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The new head coach is yet to meet with the club hierarchy to discuss the priorities, which is why there are still no deals in the making.

"Let’s see what happens at Liverpool but my information is that there is nothing concrete so far, we will see as soon as Arne Slot meets with the club’s new directors," Romano told CaughtOffside.

The appointment of several executives, including Michael Edwards, Julian Ward and Richard Hughes, means that Slot will not have as big of a say in Liverpool's transfer as Jurgen Klopp did in recent years. However, it does not look likely that his opinion will be completely ignored.
