Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has criticized Jamie Carragher for his "biased" claim about Jurgen Klopp.
On the Stick to Football podcast, Carragher was asked to name five greatest Premier League managers. He placed recently departed Liverpool boss Klopp ahead of Arsene Wenger.
Justifying his claim, Carragher stated: "I would put him [Klopp] above Wenger, with the only reason being the Champions League."
Wilshere took to social media to dispute Carragher's claims, calling the former Liverpool defender's opinion "biased."
Wilshere wrote: "[It is] unbelievable how he [Klopp] transformed Liverpool but Arsene’s legacy in the Premier League is second to none."
"Sorry Jamie but you are miles off it, please don’t be so biased and respect Arsene and what he did over a longer period, including leading the only team in the premier league to be invincible."
During his 22 years with Arsenal, Wenger never won the Champions League, reaching the final only once in 2006. However, he did secure three Premier League titles, including the historic undefeated season in 2003/04.
