Liverpool see opening Leny Yoro offer rejected, Lille's new demands revealed (reliability: 3 stars)

Liverpool appear to be making moves to seal the signing of Lille defender Leny Yoro over other teams.

As per Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, the Reds have seen their opening offer of around €50m rejected by the French club.

Lille have made it clear that they want a fee of around €60m to sell their prized centre-back in the summer window.

Liverpool face stiff competition for the signing of the highly-rated centre-back. The likes of Man United, Real Madrid and PSG are all reportedly eager to sign him.

The Reds have to act quickly in the transfer market to sign him over these teams. For one, they need to increase their offer to sign the 18-year-old this summer.

Yoro is reportedly prioritizing a move to Real Madrid, but they do not want to pay €60m for him. This could potentially help Liverpool sign him over the Spanish giants.

The 18-year-old made 44 appearances for Lille last season, helping them keep 15 clean sheets in Ligue 1.
