German journalist Florian Plettenberg reports: "RB Leipzig, still interested to sign Tyler Morton from Liverpool!
"Concrete talks took place. Leipzig are pushing for a loan with an option to buy. LFC are not interested in this loan structure.
"The 21 y/o can really imagine to join RB now. But no agreements yet."
It looks as if the Reds are not ready to include the buyout clause in the midfielder's loan agreement.
Morton, who has made nine Liverpool appearances including starting a Champions League game, spent the 2023/24 season on loan with Hull. The 21-year-old made 41 appearances for the Championship side, scoring three goals.
It has been previously reported that the Englishman wants to try to impress Arne Slot in the pre-season.
