Non Gamstop betting as the Premier league returns

The summer break is now over, with football fans from around the world now getting ready for yet another season to kick off in the Premier league. It means it is certainly set to be a busy weekend with punters getting involved on the opening Premier league betting markets. Non gamstop bettors will be no different, as they look to access gambling sites that are not on Gamstop, with more and more becoming available and also offering odds on sporting events, like MyStake for example.

It will come as no surprise to any Premier league fans, that Manchester City are heading in as the overwhelming favourites to win yet another Premier league title. This is coming off the back of the remarkable season last year, that saw them not only win a domestic trophy but also the Premier league title and the most important of all – The Champions league in their treble winning season.

It was a record breaking achievement and that saw them emulate that of rivals United for previous years, with many now saying that they could just be the greatest team in the history of English football. It is certainly up for question, as they are now seven time winners of the Premier league and at this current rate will be fast approaching United who stand on 13 titles to date. However, Manchester City have now won in five of the last six seasons, which further shows the incredible dominance they have over English football and why they are odds on favourites to win yet another title this season.

As mentioned, the Premier league returns this weekend, so here we have highlighted the two key games worth looking out for and the likely predictions for these.

  • Burnley v Manchester City

Where better to start than again with Manchester City, who are kicking off the season with a trip to Burnley. It will come as little surprise that they start at very short odds, and it would come as a major shock, were they to fail to come away with the three points. Last season saw Manchester City win both ties in the league 2-0 but they also faced off in the FA Cup quarterfinals, with City coming away with a 6-0 victory. They also beat Burnley 3-0 in the EFL Cup round of 16, so over the four fixtures last season won via an aggregate of 13-0. They simply are different class and at odds of around 1/3, it is certainly worth a bet for football punters.

  • Chelsea v Liverpool

The other game that had to be covered on the opening weekend of the Premier league season, must be the blockbuster clash between Chelsea and Liverpool. Both sides certainly saw a major dip in results last season, with Liverpool finishing down in 5th and Chelsea down in a shocking 12th. Considering the money that had been invested into Chelsea on new players, it truly was a result that will have seen major changes taking place. Last season saw the two sides so evenly matched, with both Premier league games finishing 0-0. They also took each other on in the FA Cup final and the EFL Cup final with again both games finishing 0-0 and having to be decided on penalties. Both sides have invested again heavily, which will come as no surprise, so it is certainly going to be fascinating to see who comes out of top this weekend and across the Premier league season. Liverpool head into the match as the favourites, despite being away from home but based on the results of last season, you would have to predict that the game is likely to finish as a draw and even potentially another 0-0 stalemate.

It really is such an exciting time for football fans with the return of the Premier league and it will be fascinating whether both Liverpool and Chelsea can bounce back and battle for the title. Whether United will continue to improve and pose a threat. Whether Newcastle can continue this incredible improvement under new ownership and maybe even challenge for the title. Then of course Arsenal and whether they can produce a similar season to last year and push City again all the way. We cannot wait for it to start!
