Jesse Lingard, who picked up a knock in the 2-1 victory over Man City last the weekend, remains a doubt for United's clash with Everton on Sunday, admits Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“I'm not sure about Jesse, but I hope [he can feature],” the boss said, as cited by the club's official website.
“He wasn't training today, but we'll check him on Saturday probably. He's really come good now; he's been fit, he's been training well, so we hope so.”
While Jesse still has a chance to play vs the Toffees, Paul Pogba won't make his injury return this weekend. The Frenchman has already recovered from an ankle problem that he picked in late September but is yet to return to full training.
Ole expects the World Cup winner to start training properly next week. Other long-term absentees Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah will also start training after Everton's visit to Manchester.
”Next week, Eric will start training, Tim will start training, Paul will probably start training with us next week properly. So let's see,” the Norwegian concluded.
