Shaw, Rashford and more: Team news ahead of Wolves

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says that Man United's squad for Wednesday's FA Cup third-round replay with Wolves is likely to be similar to the one the Red Devils had in the 4-0 win over Norwich over the weekend.

“We’ll probably have a similar squad to what we had at the weekend against Norwich,” he told MUTV on Tuesday. “Eric is playing today, behind closed doors, so he’s very close to full fitness, but it’s still a few days early, this one.”

Luke Shaw remains a doubt for the Wanderers' visit to Old Trafford as he felt a tight hamstring in the pre-Norwich warm-up. It remains to be seen if Ole would give some minutes to Marcus Rashford ahead of United's Premier League tie with Liverpool on Sunday.

Jesse Lingard is also a doubt for the Wanderers clash after missing the Canaries win through illness.

When asked about Ashley Young's involvement vs Wolves during the pre-match presser, the Norwegian replied: "Not involved at all". The 34-year-old has reportedly gone AWOL to force his move to Inter Milan this summer.

Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah made their injury comebacks in the Under-23s' tie against Newcastle last Friday. Bailly will feature in Tuesday's friendly with Sheffield Wednesday's youth. He might be ready for the weekend's trip to Anfield.

Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and Marcos Rojo all remain long-term absentees.
