Kalidou Koulibaly could end up at Old Trafford after all as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly a big fan of the Senegalese defender.

According to the Evening Standard, the Norwegian considers the Napoli star to be among the three best-centre-back in the world at the moment.

The Manchester United boss believes that the 28-year-old could be an ideal partner for Harry Maguire and become the Red Devils' own Virgil van Dijk.

Solskjaer wants to bolster his defensive options in the summer with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling likely to leave Old Trafford.
