Solsjaker heaps praise on Rojo: 'He was excellent tonight'

Marcos Rojo put another solid display for United on Thursday, helping the Red Devils keep a clean sheet in a Europa League win against Partizan.

Reflecting on the Argentine's form, Ole Gunnar Solsjaker said: "He was excellent tonight, has been since we started pre-season, played more than he expected, that's why he's still here, top quality footballer.

"Winning mentality, he can pass, defend, now it's about keeping him fit. He's got such a big heart and passion for football and is a winner, to have him around when fit in good mood and good form has been great.

"The boys love him and he spreads fear sometimes in training with tackles, really really cares about this game."
