Solskjaer: 'I hope we are going to stop Norwich'

Man United visit Carrow Road on Sunday to meet 19th placed Norwich. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admires the courage from the Canaries as he talks the opponent up.

Solskjaer is quoted by Sky Sports: "I hope we are going to stop them because it's always going to be difficult down at Carrow Road. When I watched their first game [in the Premier League] against Liverpool (Klopp's men won 4-1 but were met with resistance) I saw a team with lots of courage. They were brave, they played their own way and kept going.

"That has given them some great results – they beat Newcastle (3-1), they beat Manchester City (3-2) – and they're a team with a clear philosophy."

The last time Ole 'tried to win' was at Newcastle United before the international break. The game ended in a gutless 1-0 defeat.

A boost for Solskjaer this time will be some players returning from injuries.

"We are ready for it now, we've been to Belgrade here and got some players back," he added. "I managed to take off Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Anthony Martial off after 60 minutes because they've been out for a long time. So hopefully we'll have a fresh team because we'll need to be at our best to have a chance."

Daniel Farke's men last won exactly against Man City a month ago. Since then, they've suffered 3 defeats, including 5-1 at home to Aston Villa, and managed 1 draw. They've only scored one goal in those fixtures as Teemu Pukki isn't quite banging them in these days.

Will we beat them and finally score more than one goal?
