Wage cuts and 4 more unanimous decisions made at PL clubs meeting

Wage cuts: The Premier League clubs have unanimously agreed to consult their players on potential wage cuts up to 30 per cent of their annual revenue to keep functioning in the economically challenging times.

Helping clubs below PL: The clubs have voted to advance £125m to the EFL and National League to help struggling clubs from different levels of the Englis football pyramid.

Supporting NHS: The clubs have immediately committed £20m to support the National Health Service (NHS), communities, families and vulnerable groups; that includes a direct donation to the NHS and funds to start social programmes and projects.

Supporting communities: The clubs are determined to continue helping their local communities by donating to foodbanks, delivering essentials to those in need and enabling free resources to support wellbeing and education.

Promoting public health: The clubs are going to keep using their influence and popularity to promote important public health messages throughout the coronavirus crisis.

The Premier League clubs have decided to postpone the season indefinitely instead of resuming it at the beginning of May, as it was expected. Nevertheless, the objective remains to play all remaining domestic league and cup matches.
