Rashford helps raise £20m to feed school kids missing out on free meals amid coronavirus crisis

Marcus Rashford’s call for everyone to help donate to feed school kids missing out on their free meals during the coronavirus crisis has been heard all around, as he’s helped raise a whopping amount for his noble cause.

According to the Sun, the Man United striker's helped raise £20m which will go into the fund to help provide meals for those hungry kids who are very much dependent on them during the day.

As all schools remain shut in the UK because of the pandemic, Rashford has managed to convince big-time supermarket giants and retailers to play their part in donating to those in need.

Tesco have donated £15m in food, while Asda has donated £2.5m in cash to add serious revenue for the cause. The Co-Op have also donated £1.5m, while Pret A Manager and Pizza Express have also made their donation towards the cause.

The Englishman had recently spoken about how he’s so keen on this cause, pointing out his younger days when he was reliant on free meals himself.

His cause has also generated more than £100,000 in revenue from the public, which keeps on growing as donations keep on coming.

It seems Rashford sparked up something big with his vocal support for this cause and continues to prove himself an absolute gem of a person.
