Man United put Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba in same training group – and fans only have one way to react

Manchester United clearly have been big plans for the Bruno Fernandes-Paul Pogba link up at Old Trafford with the two midfielders constantly working together.

The coronavirus safety guidelines mean that the clubs have to split their first-team squads in two groups: one works in the mornings while the other one starts training in the afternoon.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have been making sure that the two midfielders are always training in the same group ahead of the Premier League's potential return next month.

  • Players who trained in the morning on Monday:

Sergio Romero, Nathan Bishop; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Phil Jones, Victor Lindelof, Brandon Williams; Fred, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Scott McTominay; Tahith Chong, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial

  • Players who trained in the afternoon:

David de Gea, Nathan Bishop, Lee Grant; Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe, Luke Shaw; Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Jesse Lingard, Angel Gomes; Daniel James, Mason Greenwood, Odion Ighalo.

With Pogba being practically absent since August with a major ankle injury, the Frenchman is yet to play alongside January arrival Fernandes at Old Trafford.

And it's fair to say that Man United fans are excited about seeing the duo in action when the 2019/20 Premier League campaign gets back underway:
