Who's to blame for Southampton's second goal – Maguire, Lindelof, or both?

"Lindelof has to mark 3 men here, De Gea doesn't come out, Maguire gets beaten in the air, Fred doesn't stick to a man but Lindelof will get the blame of course because most of you guys have no football knowledge," Chris (@1469Crispy) writes on Twitter.

That's all good but wait...

Firstly, United were down to 10 men and their usual tasks could suddenly change after Brandon Williams left the pitch.

Secondly, Lindelof was likely doing what he indeed had to – marking Obafemi who wasn't the biggest threat since there was also centre-back Jack Stephens (No. 5) ready to finish the cross.

In our opinion, both Maguire and Lindelof are responsible for the conceded goal: Harry seems to be marking Wan-Bissaka but not Stephens (and Maguire eventually lost the aerial duel); Lindelof wasn't good enough to keep hold of Obafemi who tapped the ball in.
