After Manchester United's 2-2 draw against Southampton, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Sky Sports: "I know my ankle would not take that challenge [Oriol Romeu on Mason Greenwood], it was a nasty one. We have said enough about VAR."
When asked about the disappointing draw, the manager went on to add: "I don't think tiredness is the case.
"It was just one of those days we did not take our chances and they took theirs.
"David de Gea had one really good save but apart from that we had the bigger chances but you are not going to be given three points."
The Red Devils were in the driver's seat for a good majority of the game but a last-minute goal from Michael Obafemi helped the Saints secure a point.
Nevertheless, a major talking point from the game continues to be Romeu's tackle on Greenwood - and how it was ignored by both VAR and the referees.
