United ‘will be forced to train at German fourth-tier club’s ground’ if they defeat FC Copenhagen in Europa League clash
  • Man United will have to downsize their training methods upon defeating FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Europa League, after which they’ll train in facilities used by German fourth-division club Fortuna Koln, as per the Daily Mail.
  • The report suggests that the Red Devils were hoping to get access to a Bundesliga club's training facilities, but UEFA allotted them a training ground at the 12,000-seater Sudstadion.
  • This is because every Bundesliga club have already started pre-season training and Bayer Leverkusen will also have to train outside their own facilities because of UEFA’s strict rules.
  • It’s also being reported that the four-star hotel booked for the United squad and staff is way below the usual standards for European trips.
  • The Red Devils also won’t be allowed to fly in and out of Germany between games as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had wanted, with United potentially having to stay 13 days in Cologne if they reach the final on August 21.
  • United will have to make the best out of an uncomfortable situation in training and work hard to win some silverware at the end of the season.
