Charlton manager picks out Dylan Levitt’s biggest strengths after handing him full debut

Speaking after Charlton Athletic’s loss to Lincoln City on Sunday, manager Lee Bowyer picked out praise for Dylan Levitt and said (as quoted by Manchester Evening News): “I’ll take a lot of positives.

“I thought Dylan in his first proper league game, there was a lot to be happy in his performance – his range of passing and awareness.”

Levitt made his first full start for Charlton at the weekend and despite the loss, he put in a very compelling performance from midfield.

He managed a passing accuracy of 85% (stats via Fotmob), took a few ambitious shots on goal, blocked 2 shots and looked comfortable on the ball. Levitt’s ability to impress even during dismal losses is exactly why Man United sent him out on loan, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope he gains some vital experience from his adventures this season.
