- Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for coronavirus away on international duty, Portugal's FA confirmed on Tuesday.
- An official statement reads: "Cristiano Ronaldo was released from the work of the National Team after a positive test for COVID-19, so he will not face Sweden."
- Cristiano is said to be 'feeling well' with the Manchester United legend not experiencing any symptoms of the disease. The 35-year-old has begun a period of self-isolation which could last up to 14 days.
- Ronaldo was in close contact with Bruno Fernandes in the last few days, training and playing alongside the Man United midfielder. The 26-year-old has tested negative for coronavirus, along with the rest of the Portugal squad.
