'I've seen countless top forwards go through bad patches': Man United fan expresses support for Anthony Martial

The United Stand's Mark Goldbridge wrote on Twitter: "One thing I will say.

"[Anthony] Martial was player of the year last season as our number 9. That wasn't a dream, he deserved it. And he will be back.

"I've seen countless top forwards go through bad patches. Shame some fans don't remember."

The Man United forward failed to get on the scoresheet as he missed a golden opportunity to tip the scales in our favour against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

However, Goldbridge is right - Martial was among our best performers last season. The Red Devils have a tough run of fixtures this month and hopefully, he will regain his form soon.
