How Man Utd is committed to seeing off Rojo but Ole hoping to well back Jones is beyond me. Is it no longer whats good for the goose is good for the gander? Rojo is not worse than Jones. Don't wanna think of favoritism as the basis as much as am forced to do so.

Ole has managed a massive clearance so far from Sanchez to Rojo. Not sure why nobody came for Romero.  I think James could have gone on a PL loan.  Jones...last chance. Part of me still believes there's a decent footballer in him. Very likely summer exit.

The difference, according to me, is this - Jones isn't a bad footballer. He's been at United as long as some of the seniors, if not more. He's been unfortunate because of his injury and in a way, I guess it's a nice gesture by the club to keep him around. However, if he fails to grasp this chance, it's the exit door for him. Ideally in the summer, like Red@heart says

He has been below par in the last three seasons with or without injury. But I agree with you summer isn't far for Man Utd to bear him and offload. Sure he is not earning less than 100k weekly but we can get a much better younger player on such wages. He has done well for the club but we wait for the summer

Glad to see United sticking true to their word and clearing out the squad. Rojo, eh, never rated him much he had his moments for sure. Unfortunate that the contract situation was so long-drawn but he'll be happy in Argentina - Boca Juniors seems to be the place to be if you love football! Good luck, Rojo 🤘
