Diallo makes international debut for Ivory Coast in AFCON qualifiers clash

Amad Diallo made his international debut for Ivory Coast in their 3-0 win over Niger in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers on Friday.

The 18-year-old winger was introduced into the game in the last few minutes of the game, making him the youngest debutant for Ivory Coast since Franck Kessie made his debut as an 18-year-old in 2014.

Eric Bailly also played 66 minutes for Les Elephants to help them get a dominant win that helped them secure qualification for the AFCON.

Diallo is also the second-youngest player to make his debut for Ivory Coast since 2001 and is guaranteed to get more game-time going forward.
